An expert will explain the process of creating ceramics and demonstrate the necessary skills. Get behind the pottery wheel to shape your own masterpiece under expert guidance. Spin the wheel to create a bowl from local Cambodian clay and add some Khmer ornamentation to your piece. Use the various tools and equipment in the workshop to create your own masterpiece that you will take home with you. After firing in the kiln, your bowl will be ready for you in 3-4 days. The class was so much fun! The start of the class was explained to us by one instructor and then the rest of it was taught to us hands on (I think the man was deaf, so he shows you how to do everything through gestures or he holds your hands in place). I just loved it! It’s kind of a create your own adventure with the clay - they don’t really care if you make a bowl or a cup or whatever - if you gesture to show what your goal is they’ll help you! The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because I paid extra at the start of the class to have my piece delivered to my hotel - it never came when they said it would. Thankfully, my hotel was able to reach them and they dropped it off in the middle of the night before my flight in the morning.

Amazing, was just me and my friend, we didn’t take our pottery home because we didn’t stay in Siem reap long enough so they gave us money to spend in the gift shop instead which was incredible. The employees were amazing and talked us through everything. We made 5 pieces and you can pick them up the next day. I loved this experience and everyone at the art center is so talented.

Activity was very well organised and thought through! It was my first every pottery class, but the instructor helped all the way when i was failing, but let me create my few pieces when i felt more confident. The piece of art that we got in the end is spectacular! Highly recommend this activity :)
