Great private tour seeing the main temples on the small circuit - communication prior to the tour was excellent and all ran on time. Being on a private tour meant you could tailor to your needs and return to the hotel before the midday heat! I would recommend the tuktuk/ramok as it was fast to get around and shaded between stops - the driver always had a cold towel and water waiting for you. Sopheak, our guide, was lovely and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this on the first day so you can learn about the temples and then you can explore others on your own. One thing to note (no criticism of the tour but something we did not appreciate before we came) is that sunrise is not guaranteed and it is often cloudy even in dry season (we came late February) - therefore there were no colours and whilst the morning atmosphere was still nice to experience, we would have preferred to start later and do the temples in a different order to avoid the crowds so would check the weather before.

We did the guided tour to Battambang with Lucky and had an excellent time. Lucky took us to the town where we visited the local market and tried different foods before we visited a local rice paper maker and tried their yummy spring rolls. We had an epic time on the Bamboo Tree - it was like a roller coaster! We also visited the Gallery of Peace and the Killing Fields/Temple before heading to the Killing Caves to see the bats. The temple at the top of the Killing Caves has a great viewpoint and Lucky found us a great spot to enjoy a beer and watch the bats. Overall, would recommend Lucky as a guide. He was friendly, provided lots of detail on history and local tips and always had a bottle of water or can of beer ready for us. A great day trip from Siem Reap and definitely worth trying to fit in if you can.

We were a group of 3. I thought it would be a group tour, but it was a private tour with an SUV. Lucky was very informative and flexible in modifying the plans for our needs. We had a great day with Lucky!

Nice we could adjust and add and subtract things we did with Lucky's brother in law. His driving was great overall a pleasant day.
