You should take this cooking class! My husband and I had a free morning, so we signed up. My husband likes to try new food, but he doesn't ever cook, so I wasn't certain he would enjoy the class. He had a great time! There were two other couples in the class. The home is set up perfectly for us to prepare the food outside and dine outside. It is April, yet under the covering with ceiling fans we were not too hot. We each had choices of what to make for our four courses. After a tour of the market by Huot and a visit around the kitchen garden by Chanvatey we washed up and started cooking. (Please forgive me for making any mistake on the names.) Chanvatey was well prepared and gave good instructions. Everyone had room to work around the cook space, and everyone had plenty to do. You could make choices, like more sweet or less garlic, but mostly we all followed Chanvatey's directions. Hoat took photos as we worked, and sent them to us afterwards. The food was so delicious!

Amazing experience! Our guide Sok showed us very interesting local markets which we would have never discovered otherwise and introduced us to the most special Cambodian streetfood. We finished the evening in a grill restaurant and went home with full tummies and lots of snacks for the next days. Thank you very much! :-)

I was the only one join the course. They picked up fm the hotel on time. Before start cooking visited local market. I cooked 4 easy and delicious dishes. I recommend all people visiting Seamreap if u feel had enough of Angkor wat. Nice family own place. Thank you very much.
