Amazing visit to some bucket list locations. We almost had Angkor Wat to ourselves and managed to get the most amazing photos with our guides help and expertise. Saw monkeys at Angkor Thom and the best views and photos at the other temples. Just a fantastic experience that was very much appreciated.

Being at Angkor Wat for the sunrise was cool, but I think the real benefit was being there before it got super crowded. We stopped to get tickets along the way and didn't have to wait in line, which we had heard could get really long, but since it was 5:30am in the morning we walked right up to the ticket window. It was nice to have a private car with air conditioning and water available and our guide spoke English well and was very knowledgeable about all of the temples we stopped at. These temples are super touristy though so be prepared to wait for the "perfect picture spots" if you want some of the classic pictures. Also be prepared with comfy shoes, something to cover your shoulders & knees and a long day.

We had an enjoyable time with the guide who spoke quite well and gave us some especially good stories regarding the carvings on the walls of the temples that we went to see (we saw Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Phrom). The car and driver, and overall service was really good. He waited for us on multiple occasions as we dealt with a heavy young toddler who isn't really walking yet. Only thing I wished could have been done differently was that the guide could have been prepared to include one more stop given that on that day, we didn't stop for too long for breakfast in Angkor Wat, the Elephant Terrace and surrounds of Angkor Thom was closed for an event so we actually finished the tour slightly over an hour earlier than the promised 7 hours. It seemed to me as if the itinerary was fixed and has no flexibility.
