Taormina: Ancient Theater Skip-the-Line Ticket & Audio Guide

Pre-book your entry ticket to the Ancient Theater of Taormina and enjoy the added perk of skip-the-line entry privileges. Take a stirring journey through the archaeological ruins and enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace. After the one of Syracusa, the Ancient Theater of Taormina is the largest building for shows in the Italian Peninsula. The archaeological site offers the opportunity to step back into the past as well as enjoy the views of the surrounding landscapes. The Greek building, built in a dominant position, dates back, by layout, to the III-II century B.C., but the monument you can admire today appears in the forms acquired in the roman imperial age under the emperor Trajan or Hadrian. It becomes an amphitheater under the emperor Caracalla and, in the same period, the orchestra was converted into an arena to host gladiator fights. After centuries of neglect, in 1465, part of the monument was used as a palace of residence of the Zumbo family.

The cooking class with Maria Rita in Siracusa was an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the very beginning. It was a small, intimate group, which added to the familiar and friendly vibe. The class was not only informative but also so much fun! We had a great time learning to make traditional dishes like homemade pasta, Melanzana alla Parmigiana, Involtini di Pesce Spada, and a delicious Tiramisù. Maria Rita was a wonderful teacher, guiding us step by step while keeping the mood light and engaging. Overall, it was a delightful and enjoyable experience. I left with a full heart, a satisfied appetite, and some fantastic new recipes to try at home. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Siracusa!

Fantastic day out. I would definitely recommend doing it, and the extra money for the cable car and hike is well worth it. I wouldn't call it 'easy' but you can choose how much of it you want to do. The wine and food tasting was the real highlight for me. Enrico was lovely and informative and I would love to go there again. As for our tour guide Lorenzo, he was an absolute joy! So knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but great fun too. Made our day really special. We met some lovely people and had a fabulous time!

It was an amazing experience, we spent a beautiful day with Luca as our guide. There were not many options for the wine tasting though.

What a brilliant way to see Palermo. Our guide Chiara was excellent, very informative and enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend 😎

Marcello was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable! 1000/10! Perfetto ☺️
