Today, visit the Giant Stone Buddha and see beautiful countryside on a full-day tour that gives you a unique glimpse into Chinese history and culture.
Your day starts with a pick-up from your hotel at 7:30, from which you're taken on a scenic drive to Leshan. Leshan is the home of the Giant Stone Buddha that was built during the Tang Dynasty (618–907AD). Leshan's Giant Biddha is the largest carved stone Buddha in the world and most likely the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. The Giant Buddha and its scenic surrounds have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
