We start our trip in the morning with travelling to Alba Iulia in a Walking tour you will find the history of the impressive fortress in Vauban style which was originally a Roman fort. In the old town visitors can stroll along the wide, tree-lined streets of the Habsburg citadel, one of the most impressive in Europe, to discover the historical, cultural and architectural places of interest of Alba Iulia: the Roman Catholic Cathedral – the oldest and most valuable monument of architecture in Transylvania., the Batthyaneum Library, the Orthodox Cathedral of the Reunification, the Babilon Building – housing the National Museum of Unification, the Union Hall, the Apor Palace, the Princely Palace, and the University of Alba Iulia. After the City tour, you will have some free time to explore and get some lunch. After lunchtime, we drive to the Corvin's Castle in Hunedoara, also known as Hunyadi Castle or Hunedoara Castle, which one of the most beautiful medieval castles in the world. In the evening we drive back to Sibiu.

In the morning, drive all the way to Bran, enjoying a nice view of the Carpathian mountains along the way. Visit Bran castle and discover the mysterious legend of Dracula on your own. Take time for lunch. In the afternoon, head to Brasov, the 7th largest city in Romania. The city provides a mix of wonderful mountain and medieval history with German influences in the old town. On a 2-hour walking tour, discover the historical and cultural highlights of Brasov the “Crown City". Admire the Weavers' Bastion and go to the 4-foot-wide Rope Street (Strada Sforii). Check out Brasov Synagogue and see the Catholic Church, Post Orchard, White Tower, and Black Tower. The city tour ends with some free time for you to explore the city on your own. After your free time, return to Sibiu.

Day 1: Two Castles and Brasov Today, you will head towards Transylvania region and cross the mighty Carpathian Mountains on your way. You will arrive in the mountain resort of Sinaia and visit the impressive Peles Castle. Next, you will arrive in Bran village, where Romania’s most visited sight awaits you - Dracula Castle. Your next stop will be in Brasov, where you will enjoy a guided city tour and visit the famous Black Church - the largest in country. Accommodation will follow in Brasov city. Note: Peles Castle and the Black Church are closed on Mondays, so you will visit Rasnov Citadel and the orthodox church in Brasov instead. Day 2: Heart of Transylvania   In the morning after breakfast, you will visit the unique Sighisoara Citadel with the famous Dracula house. Next, arrive in Biertan, where you will see the biggest fortified church in Romania. Then, head towards Sibiu city, one of the most beautiful in Transylvania. You will visit the astonishing Old Town and the beautiful Gothic church, one of the tallest in the country. End your day in Sibiu city. Day 3: Southern Transylvania  In the morning after your breakfast, start your way back to the capital city. Your journey will continue on toward the beautiful Olt Valley and make a stop by the charming Cozia Orthodox Monastery. Once you emerge from the mountains, stop in Curtea de Arges, once the capital of Vallachia and the headquarters of Romanian rulers. Here, you will see the beautiful Curtea de Arges Monastery, one of the most representative of the Romanian authentic style, and also the official burial place for the Kings and Queens of Romania. Arrive in Bucharest in the evening with a private drop-off at your hotel.  

In the morning, our guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and take you to Racos, where you will visit the geological complex which consists of three places which you shouldn't miss: the basalt columns, 15 meter high rock structures that will surely impress you, the Emerald Lake with its unique looking color and last but not least, the ”volcanic canyon.” The area was a witness of volcanic activity and the scenery inside the canyon will make you feel like at the Grand Canyon but in a smaller scale.If you like a bit of history, you can visit the Sukosd Bethlen castle situated in the village of Racos and even climb into the tower for a nice panorama over the area. Your next stop will be the Rupea citadel, situated on top of a small hill, above the city with the same name. This is one of the oldest archaeological sites in Romania, the first signs of human settlements here dating from the Paleolithic and early Neolithic. You final stop will be in Viscri, "the Romanian's home of Prince Charles", which is well known outside the country as being on of the most pitoresque village listed as Unesco World Heritage Sites. We will visit the the White Church, which is a modest house of God but an impressive fortress, one of many created to protect small Transylvanian villages in the Middle Ages. End the day in style, with a traditional meal that will surely make you fall in love with this area. We will stop at a local barn, where the people from the village craft traditional and reinvented dishes. The owners search for authentic, honest ingredients and they change the menu seasonally,depending on what they find interesting in their smallfarmers network. After this you will be taken back to Brasov and dropped off at your location.

Day 1 Starting off in Bucharest, you will follow the scenic Olt Valley all the way to the Saxon town of Sibiu. From the quaint alleys to the colourful houses and the still ambiance, Sibiu will surely crawl its way into your heart. You will have the afternoon to explore the historical centre with the interlinked two main squares, the impressive churches and towers on a walking tour, and learn all about its history and influences. Overnight in Sibiu Day 2 Travelling through the countryside, you will stop in Biertan Saxon Village for a visit of its 500-year-old Fortified Church. Then, you will arrive in the delightful Sighisoara. One of the last inhabited citadels, Sighisoara is also Vlad the Impaler’s birthplace. On the walking tour around its narrow alleyways you will learn all about what’s real and what is not about the legend of Dracula. Travelling even further off the beaten path, today you will travel to the Saxon village of Viscri. One of the best-preserved villages of the region, it even lured Prince Charles who has his own traditional guesthouse here. Ramble around the dusty paths, get to know the locals and their traditions, climb up to the Fortified Church and peak into the daily lives of the people still living here. At noon, you will be invited to a traditional lunch in a local household. Leaving the rural life behind, you will travel onwards to Brasov. On the way to Bucharest, stop at the mountain resort of Sinaia, home to the picturesque Peles Castle. The summer residence of Carol I, the first Romanian King, Peles is an architectural marvel, inside and out. After the tour, you will reach Bucharest in the afternoon - walking tour. Overnight in Bucharest Day 4 Today, you start the adventure in Danube Delta. We arrive in the heart of the Delta at 3pm and you will enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch. In the afternoon, take the time to relax surrounded by nature. In the evening, go out on a boat ride and watch the sun set lazily over the waterfront. Overnight in Danube Delta Day 5 After breakfast, travel deeper into the heart of the Danube Delta – by boat, of course. A specialized guide will accompany you, showing you the flora and fauna that you will find along the way. Halfway through, stop in the remote village of Mila 23, and tuck into a tasty lunch. You will then continue your journey along the river, taking it slow, enjoying the nature unravelling before your eyes and breathing in the fresh air. Late afternoon you will return to Crisan, where you will relax with a glass of wine, recounting the plenitude of things you have seen today. Next day, you will be transported back to Bucharest.
