From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Swimming, Food & Wine Tasting

1. From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Swimming, Food & Wine Tasting

Make the most of your time in Croatia with a day trip to Krka National Park, one of the country’s most beautiful natural hotspots. See everything from waterfalls to medieval towns along the way. Meet your guide and driver in Split before heading out to Lozovac. From here, enter the magnificent Krka National Park, with guaranteed unforgettable vistas on the way. Once on the other side, benefit either from a roughly 1-hour complimentary guided tour of Krka, or the freedom to explore on your own. Either way, enjoy extra time after the optional guided tour to explore. Whether it’s of flowing waterfalls at Skrandinski Buk, historical flour mills, or wood trails, snap some photo opportunities of the unbelievable scenic views in front of you. If you are traveling during the high season (June-September), board a bus to the postcard-worthy, medieval town of Primošten. Enjoy a couple of hours to discover picturesque beaches, swim, eat, take a scenic stroll, or taste wine at vineyards waiting to be enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage sites. During the low season, when the weather is too cold for swimming, visit the picturesque city of Šibenik, famous for its impressive historical fortresses and known as a gateway to the National Park Kornati. Finish off the day with a transfer back to Split in time for the early evening.

Šibenik or Vodice: Kornati Archipelago Day Tour by Speedboat

2. Šibenik or Vodice: Kornati Archipelago Day Tour by Speedboat

Enjoy a day on the water exploring the islands and beaches of Kornati National Park, the Kornati archipelago in Croatia. Get picked up from locations in Vodice, Šibenik, or from Šibenik’s Solaris Hotel Ivan and choose between a group tour or a private tour. After checking in with the crew at your meeting point, prepare to enjoy panoramic views of the St. Anthony Channel and Šibenik islands on the way to the Kornati archipelago. First, stop at Mana, one of the many islands in the Kornati archipelago. Marvel at views of the cliffs from the sea, a wild beach, and clear water. Continue your journey through the archipelago by visiting the next island, Levrnaka. On Levrnaka sits Lojena Beach, the only real natural sandy beach on the Kornati islands. The boat will leave you on the northeastern side of the island, next to a restaurant in case you would like to have some coffee or food. Lojena Beach is within walking distance of the restaurant. Next, marvel at the cliffs of Dugi island before getting to Kapri island where you will have a break for lunch. Relax and enjoy fresh local food served right next to the sea in a local konoba serving fresh, Dalmatian food. Finally, visit Zlarin. Due to its geographical position, the island is seen as St. Anthony Channel’s gatekeeper and the guardian of Šibenik. Use your free time to enjoy the pebble beaches with sand under your feet as soon as you enter the sea. Just before sunset, head back to the starting point of the tour.
