Meet in Split or Trogir and take a drive to Entrance Lozovac as this is the best place to start the 2-km walk around the Skradinski Buk waterfall. Then continue this fantastic walk on the wooden pathway with little lakes and waterfalls everywhere. This truly is one of the most preserved ecosystems in Croatia. Krka National Park is located within the territory of Sibenik-Knin County along the Krka River. Once in the Park, you may enjoy last set of falls, before the river meets the sea. The Skradinski Buk Falls is a spectacular multi level cascade over travertine cliffs. This waterfall is known as a most beautiful waterfall in Europe. It is 46 meters high, which makes it the highest travertine (gypsum) barrier in Europe. Above the falls is a large plateau that offers spectacular views and a perfect photo opportunity. You'll also have a chance to visit the small ethnological exhibition and the old mill. The whole area is rich with flora and fauna. Due to strict new preservation laws, this extraordinary area has been kept in its original state. Skradinski buk is the longest and most visited waterfall on the Krka River, and one of the best known natural beauties in Croatia. The Krka spills over the 17 cascades which are formed by travertine barriers. You can view the cascades on a leisurely and safe walk along the walking trails and wooden bridges. Bathing is permitted at Skradinski buk so don't forget your bathing suit. Visit the old water mills, the ethnography collection, the souvenir shop, or find refreshments in one of the hospitality facilities. On your request, visit the river island Visovac or any other part of the National Park.

Straight forward finding the tour in the morning & everything was explained well. Coach was comfy & air conditioned. The stop off on the way back to Split was a real highlight - well worth the money!

A great activity for those in Split that want to visit Krka National Park. Transport from the bus station to the National park and back was provided. Very friendly tour guide!
