【Contemporary Culture】Bar Hopping I Always Visit in Shinjuku

【Contemporary Culture】Bar Hopping I Always Visit in Shinjuku

We are here to introduce you to Japanese Izakaya pop culture. Japanese "traditional culture" is a wonderful thing, but we are organizing this tour because we want you to see not only "traditional culture" but also "modern Japan". As you know, there are no "Samurai" or "Ninja" in modern Japan. Is it "introducing Japan" to foreign tourists by introducing them to things that do not exist in modern Japan? Of course, as people who cherish traditional culture, it is necessary to introduce the history of the past. Therefore, we have prepared a tour of Izakaya (Japanese-style pubs) that is the closest to "modern Japanese life" for foreign tourists who have come all the way to Japan. In these izakayas, you will be able to see the situation of modern Japanese people, such as "businessmen", "couples", "various kinds of alcohol", and "greetings when having the first drink", etc. Please come and talk with us about "modern Japan" at Izakaya. [About the tour schedule]. ※Only those who are at least 20 years old can apply for the tour. (1)Meet the interpreter in front of UNIQLO at the west exit of Shinjuku Station at 19:30. (2) We will use two izakaya (Japanese style pubs)※Smoking may be allowed in some of the restaurants. (3) Dismissal near Shinjuku Station at 23:00

Marin-san and Tsubasa-san were both excellent guides. We loved the convenience of having bus transportation to all the sites, since we were only going to be in Tokyo for a limited time. We did the tour without lunch, so we had a little over an hour to explore Sensoji Temple and the Asakusa area by ourselves, which was my favorite part of the tour. You can buy street food in front of Sensoji temple, which allows you more time to explore. Overall, the tour was very peaceful and not strenuous and it was good for my mother who is a senior.

It was very nice. Bus was comfortable, clean. The guide - Marin - was very knowledgable, and kind. She kept the timing of the parts of the trip very precisely, took us to beautiful places. The driver was awesome too. The scenery was breathtaking with perfect weather. We couldn’t wish for a better one.

I really liked the tour as it covers a lot. The tour guide Angie was the best as she is very knowledgeable and was able to give the information of the place we are going. She is positive and her attitude is commendable.
