What people are saying about Shijō Station
The whole experience was amazing. Both Hiro and Yuki (the chefs) were really easy going and fun people to be around. They explained things into great detail and were always open to discussions about food and preparation for any Japanese cuisine, highly recommended for anyone wishing to learn Japanese cooking and culture
It was a great cooking class with super friendly and helpful instructors. Learned a lot about Japan and its cuisine. Everything was well prepared, the steps we had to take were well explained and supervised. We had a lot of fun and a delicious self made meal.
Great experience with only 4 attending. Would have been better if we'd all cooked the dishes separately and not in couples. Solo cooks may fare better for this given you've all paid to prepare and cook?
This was the perfect end to our stay in Kyoto you learn things that you easily can cook at home and understandable. It was super delicious and our teacher was great :)
