Shibuya & Harajuku: Hidden Gems & Highlights Private Tour

Shibuya & Harajuku: Hidden Gems & Highlights Private Tour

Explore one or two of West Tokyo’s eclectic neighborhoods on a guided tour, where the weird and wonderful is never far away. Discover Shibuya, the enormous entertainment district, and Harajuku, the epicenter of Tokyo’s youth culture. You'll be paired with a guide who is passionate about the place they call home and who chooses to spend their free time sharing it with like-minded travelers matched to them. Jostle your way through hordes of locals on your way to the zelkova tree-lined avenue of upmarket Omotesando, and pass cool designer stores on your way to bright and bustling Takeshita Street, the epicenter of Tokyo’s youth culture exploding with colorful boutiques, cafés, and all things adorable. Next, stop off at the strangely out-of-place Moyai Statue, a massive landmark modeled on the Moai of Easter Island, then make the mad dash across Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest intersections in the world (and certainly the busiest in Japan). Your personalized itinerary will be planned according to the number of hours booked and adapted to your preferences.

Fantastic tour with a passionate fan of ramen! We learned more about ramen than I ever could have imagined... and ate sooo much yummy ramen!! Our guide conveyed his enthusiasm, passion and love of ramen while being super informative. Between my husband and I we were able to sample 12 different types of ramen during this tour and left stuffed!!! This was one of the first activities that we did upon arriving in Tokyo and it was a perfect way to start things off. The walking tour covered a good amount of territory and gave us an impressive overview. We were much better informed consumers of ramen for the remainder of our time in Japan thanks to this tour!

What an awesome tour. Bunga was super knowledgeable and put in a lot of effort to ensure we had a good time and learned a lot about the history of ramen. We had 6 mini bowls of ramen at 3 stops, all of which we likely never would have gone to given their off the beaten path locations. We left SO full so as others have mentioned, eat lightly before and you may not need dinner after. Would definitely recommend!

Bunga was very kind and thorough. He speaks English very well and knows how to put people at ease. Being a couple we had the chance to taste 12 different ramen in total. I highly recommend this experience!

Excellent experience!!! We Learn a lot and the taste of the ramen, outstandingly delicious!!! We never had the opportunity to find the places by ourselves. Kei is a very kind, smart and gentle guide.

great tour and lots of different and delicious ramen, tour guides are very knowledgeable!
