Full description

Tick off some of Cairo’s most celebrated attractions on this guided trip from Sharm El Sheikh. With round-trip hotel transfers and flights, skip the hassle of planning and focus on enjoying the sights.

View the Pyramid of Giza and Valley Temple. Devote the afternoon to the Egyptian Museum and Khan el-Khalili bazaar.

Meet the tour representative at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for a transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport. Catch a flight to Cairo and be greeted by another representative at the Cairo Airport. Follow your Egyptologist guide to the great pyramid of Giza (if add-on selected), the only existing wonder of the 7 wonders of the ancient world.

At the Giza plateau, see the great pyramid of Khufu, known as Cheops, and also the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus, the valley temple of Khefren, and the iconic Great Sphinx. This amazing complex of structures dates back to almost 5,000 years ago. From there, be taken to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which houses around 150,000 artifacts that date thousands of years to ancient Egyptian civilization.

This is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Take your chance to admire the incredible treasures of the boy-king Tutankhamun. After the museum, have the chance to wander in the oldest bazaar in the middle east, the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can feel the atmosphere of living in Islamic Cairo hundreds of years ago.

The bazaar dates back to 1382, A.D., and is just one of the fascinating places we will see, giving you a real taste of the ancient city of Cairo. At the end of the day, be transferred to Cairo Airport for a flight back to Sharm El Sheikh.

A long day but worth it. A lot of time waiting in the airport and staff there are rude but Sawad, our tour guide, and driver were fantastic with us all day! He had a fatherly approach to making sure we were always ok and looked out for us with our best interest at heart, explained everything and answered questions, great personality. We felt very safe. There’s an additional price to pay to see the pyramids from a distance - I would recommend but prepare yourself for annoying hustlers. In the scroll and perfume shop you think you’re being told processes and history of such products but really they’re deceiving you in to buying them. If you don’t buy they seem bitter. Nothing seems to comes from a genuine place in Egypt communication - besides with Sawad. Boat along Nile cost more than expected and I saw a lot of flies on the food at lunch, it made me sick. The plane journey back was awful due to stomach cramps. Some hygiene issues and additional costs but overall 100% recommend Sawad.

Beautiful experience. The guide contacted us the day before around 6, sending us all the necessary info! Keep your mobile phone charged because the airline tickets will all be sent by email. I recommend keeping your cell phone always at hand because in my case it was moved and the day after due to too many bookings and the change was communicated to us the day before. Hotel pick-up, arrival at the airport with breakfast included prepared by the hotel for take away. Arrival and check for check in. Departure about 1 h and a half later. Nice guide! Arrival at the Cairo museum and short lunch stop in the Nile. In the afternoon we headed to the pyramids by taxi. Visit to the pyramids ( I entered and wow .. unique feeling ) . We then arrived at the essence museum where it was possible to buy perfumes. They offered us tea! Pleasant shopkeeper Finally visit a papyrus shop. Fantastic experience
