Meet the tour representative at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for a transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport. Catch a flight to Cairo and be greeted by another representative at the Cairo Airport. Follow your Egyptologist guide to the great pyramid of Giza (if add-on selected), the only existing wonder of the 7 wonders of the ancient world.

At the Giza plateau, see the great pyramid of Khufu, known as Cheops, and also the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus, the valley temple of Khefren, and the iconic Great Sphinx. This was one of the highlights of our trip. We were collected from the hotel and transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Cairo. On arrival our guide 'Hani' met us at the airport. Hani was super friendly, polite, knowledgeable and an all round good laugh. We had some time in the morning so Hani took us to do a quick river boat on the Nile. From here we went to the Museum where Hani showcased the best bits as well as giving us plenty of information. After the lunch we visited the oil shop, another great stop. The Pyramids are something special and the highlight of the trip. Hani was an excellent guide, a great photographer, recommended which pyramid to enter and got us a deal on some camel rides. Would really recommend this to everyone and the biggest of praise for the guide Hani. Would give more than 5 stars if i could

The trip was fantastic, and our guide Hani was amazing. The early start was a bit of a struggle (we got picked up at 0230) but it was worth it 100%. Well organised. We ended up with a very small group on our bus, so it was much more intimate and we got to do things on our own terms to a certain extent, which made it that much nicer. Hani was kind, friendly and super informative. He had such a wealth of knowledge about everything we went to see, and he explained it so well. Definitely would recommend this trip to anyone!

It was a fantastic day in Cairo and our guide Hany was fantastic. Full of knowledge and guided us through the parts of the pyramids where you are pestered by people trying to sell you something. The only downside I want to mention is that the day is far too long. Going by plane was to reduce the time of travelling but we were collected at 04:00 and the flight back from Cairo was not until 21:15, so we did not get back to the hotel until 23:00. A very long day with a number of hours being spent in Cairo Airport.
