Full description
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. You will then be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport to catch your flight to Cairo. At Cairo Airport you will be met and assisted by another of our representatives. Our Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the great pyramid of Giza, which is the only existing wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world. At the Giza plateau, you will not only see the great pyramid of Khufu, known as Cheops, but also the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus, the valley temple of Khefren and the iconic Great Sphinx. This amazing complex of structures dates back to almost 5,000 years ago. From there, you will be taken to the Egyptian museum, which houses around 150,000 artifacts that date thousands of years to ancient Egyptian civilization. This is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Take your chance to admire the incredible treasures of the boy-king Tutankhamun. After the museum, you will also have the chance to wander in the oldest bazaar in the middle east, the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you will feel the atmosphere of living in Islamic Cairo hundreds of years ago. The bazaar dates back to 1382, A.D., and is just one of the fascinating places we will see, giving you a real taste of the ancient city of Cairo. At the end of the day you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for a flight back to Sharm El Sheikh.

Everything I expected

I knew beforehand that one day for all these things would leave very little time for each stop, and it did. I would have preferred to skip the papyrus and perfume (even if it was interesting) and have more time for the museum and pyramids, but then, I think I could spend weeks there and still it wouldn't be enough.. I had been warned by other reviews about the extras, which you have to pay for, so they did not upset me, but there are definite 'optional' costs. Mosque, boat trip etc. Our guide was very knowledgeble, nice and energetic, (no idea how to spell his name, sounds something like Sarwahd) and my driver in Sharm El-Sheik, Mohammad (easier name, even if spelling varies) was very helpful (and not obnoxiously cheerful at 04.30). In all I had a great time, a very good and enjoyable snap trip of the highlights of the area. Go into a small pyramid instead of the great pyramid, especially if you have any claustrophobia, back problems or such. It's narrow, steep and very low ceiling.

Very stressful day but worth it One word PYRAMIDS to see The only wonder of the old world that still exists deserves all the stress of this world The camel ride in the desert at a cost of € 10 is the best spent money (film scene) then the sphinx beautiful The rest of the tour nothing of particular the ride in the market very very stressful all the traders who call you continuously to make you sit at their bar or who want you to buy something but for the pyramids you bear everything. To conclude go it is worth it

Interesting but very tiring experience, cairo with its 22 million inhabitants makes themselves felt, especially in the street, always blocked and clogged, this means that only a bus between the various movements is lost a lot of time. Our guide Aiman was amazing, professional and flawless, great Italian and full knowledge of history. Fantastic pyramids and camel, a very interesting museum, a market in cairo to be experienced absolutely. Personally from the tour I would remove the stops in the perfume and papyrus shop, where they just want to sell the products, those half hours could distribute them elsewhere in the program. Nile boat tour (optional) we didn't do it, it didn't inspire us, there were only hotels around, we stayed in the van while others chose to do it. Positive experience to do
