We did the tour in april 2024 and luckily had really nice weather that day. We basically had the pleasure of a private tour since it was just me and my boyfriend with our guide. Since neither of us are native English speakers we still were able to communicate perfectly. Our guide had answers to all questions asked and showed us hidden places we would have never found as tourists. Both of us really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend!

The tour was amazing and Jim was a fantastic guide that explained with happiness and joy his culture bringing us into very local places explaining traditions and staple plates. He knows very well English and was a pleasure to pass an afternoon with him discovering new things, asking some curiosities and having fun. I will definitely recommend this tour if you are searching a real dive in the Chinese culture in authentic places.

It was a super experience for me to get to know the lifestyle and culture of Shanghai in just a short period. We were a small group of four people and the guide managed to create an atmosphere in which we felt like friends enjoying the evening together. My highlight of the tour was the Shandong pan-fried dumpling.

We loved the tour with Autumn. She took us to various places that we would never have gone to otherwise. Autumn has excellent English skills, so we learned a lot about Chinese food and culture during the 3 1/2 hour tour. We are usually very skeptical about guided tours, but this one really convinced us.

Informative and enjoyable. Good introduction to local food and culture. Jim and Jade were friendly and efficient. Recommended.
