For this Shanghai Jewish Culture Day Tour, you will visit Huoshan Park, the Former French Concession, the Jewish Refugees Museum, and the Urban Development History Museum.
The local guide will pick you up from your hotel at 09:00. You may walk or take a taxi to start the tour based on your hotel location. The local insider will accompany you to visit the Huoshan Park, which holds the only memorial statue to Shanghai's Jewish community. Then explore the Tilanqiao Jewish Isolation Region and walk around the former French Concession.
Lunch is on your own and the local guide will be happy to recommend restaurants. In the afternoon, visit the Jewish Refugees Museum. Housed in the former Ohel Moshe Synagogue where the Jewish refugees gathered for religious activities, the museum holds many scrolls and other cultural relics.
