Full description
When the night falls, Shanghai is even dreamier with all the lights intertwining with the moon and the stars. The spectacular skyline in Pudong is well worth a look, with the Shanghai World Financial Center, the Shanghai Tower sitting in the clouds, the spaceship-like pink Oriental Pearl Tower and the video projections on the Aurora Plaza. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Huangpu River, you can view a lot of antique and graceful buildings along the Bund. See pointed Gothic roofs, arches from ancient Greece, Baroque columns, and Spanish balconies, displaying the rich flavor of foreign lands, so unique and majestic. During the tour, you also have a chance to visit the world's most famous jazz bar. From there, cycle to one of the biggest night flea-markets. Then head to Xintiandi and discover its colorful nightlife, wine, cuisines and bands intermingled with western and eastern flavors. You will also bike to a well-known street selling barbecue food. Here you have a chance to taste traditional street food and snacks. Finally, head back to the starting point.

Shanghai proves to be a surprisingly bike friendly city, especially at night when traffic is low. I felt safe and it was a great and fun way of seeing the city at night. My guide, May, was like an Energizer Bunny. She was extremely friendly and gave very good tips on great places where the locals eat. She also took very good photos for us. I also appreciate that she texted me a day prior to the tour to make sure that everything was fine. One of the highlights was definitely the night lights of the skyscrapers from the bund. She took us to a place where we had a great vantage point without the crowd. The tour also helps to give you an idea of night spots you may like to visit again the next days while you're still in Shanghai. Highly recommended and it was a super fun light workout as well.

If I could I'd give 6/5 stars! Our guide May was very cool and made this bike ride an amazing experience. She showed us all the great, hidden, special gems of the city and we talked so much about life and stuff. We highly recommend this tour as this is the perfect way to learn everything about this fascinating city. Give this girl a good tip as she will make you fall in love with the city! Lots of love from Nelly and Michael :)

Great way to see Shaghai. Getting around on the bike is surprisingly easy and should suit a lot of different people. The guide was very good in interesting and to-the-point descriptions of japanese-, british-, and french concessions that we passed. The info of the tour indicates that you can get off your bike into the jazz club or to shop - but no chance to do that, you actually don’t leave the bike anywhere. Not a problem though, the tour is great fun and they should remove that piece from the tour info.
