Great experience. We visited the French Concession area, Old Shanghai and New Shanghai. Sampled some great local foods. The park was a lot of fun; seeing the locals dancing, exercising and practicing martial arts. We also were allowed inside a few homes to see the way the locals live. Highly recommend. Thanks Nicole!!

Leo was an excellent guide- its the guide that makes the difference

The bike ride was very enjoyable and really gave the sense of being a local and navigating the traffic in the city. The stops were excellent and gave a "behind" scene of how some locals live and some of the activities the central government is doing to improve their living situation. A very generous government! The stops for snacks and foods were great insights into everyday living by locals (I was taken to places (restaurant and stands) that a local would go to and not a tourist- loved that! And the tour guide, Leo, had excellent knowledge and at the right level of detail to learn and remember what he shared. His English is excellent for never visiting an English speaking country before. I highly recommend booking a trip with China Bike Tours.

A great way to see Shanghai!

This was my first time in China, I went solo, and only had a 15 hour layover in Shanghai, so I literally booked this tour in the airport, rolled off the train at 8am, and met up with my guides for the bike & food tour. The guides were local, spoke great English, and were super knowledgeable and friendly. The bikes were in good shape. We went at our own pace, working in some dumpling shops and stopping in people's homes for food along the way. Biking in Shanghai is not hard and is pretty safe, and I think it was an efficient way to see many parts of the city in a limited amount of time. I would have never seen as much on my own! Thanks for the nice introduction to Shanghai.
