Following a pick-up from your hotel by your guide you will visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, where the renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored the classic artifacts that he brought back from India. Next you will drive to the Shaanxi History Museum. The Museum is home to an impressive collection of more than 2,700 works of art, all beautifully displayed in a purpose-built building. They date from China’s pre-history, through the Zhou, Qin, Han, Wei-Jin north and south dynasties, as well as the Sui-Tang and Song-Yuan-Ming-Qing dynasties. See ceramics, bronzes, gold and silver relics, and weapons and swords. Most of the items are labeled in English, but your guide will be on hand to help explain their history and significance if in any doubt. After lunch, you will drive to the City Wall. Built in the 13th-Century on the foundations of the original Tang Forbidden City, you can walk, rent a bike or take an electric cart around the 8.5-mile (14 kilometer) circuit. Enjoy fantastic views of the city on both sides, before the transfer back to your hotel at approximately 16:00.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. It is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian, Shaanxi Province. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China. The State Council authorized to build a museum on site in 1975. When completed, people from far and near came to visit. The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses have become landmarks on all visitors' itinerary. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a sensational archaeological find of all times. It has put Xian on the map for visitors. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. Lunch will be on your own arrangement, there are many local snacks in Xian, the guide will recommend some specialties to you. In the afternoon, the most flexible tour options for Xian City sightseeing are available, you can discuss with tour guide about these options, of which you may have two based on your interest and time, the guide will also give you suggestion based on the traffic condition and time. Sightseeing Options: City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum (Closed on Monday), Square of Bell & Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque. After the sightseeing, the guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
