Pick up was on time and the journey to Imbros around an 1hr The guide was great and gave us lots of information in particular on what to expect on the walk, our meeting places and restrooms. Good walking shoes are essential and take a warm top as it was a cold wind at the top of the gorge. The walk through thee gorge was about 10km according to Strava. We started Strava from the bus. Took us 2hrs 20min but we didn't rush. The only stop we made was 5mins at the mid way point where you could buy a drink. The Taverna at the end of the walk was nice. We had plenty of time for a drink. The bus ride to the beaches about 15mins. Lovely location. Lunch was good and reasonably priced. Remember to take cash. The card machine wasn't working. Its only a small beach but very pretty and sheltered. Safe to swim. You do pay to use the sunbeds on the beach. We sat on our towels as we were only on the beach for snow hour. This was a great trip.

We booked the tour today. The captain and organizer, Georgios, is a local fisherman and designed the trip with love, calmness and a lot of humor. The children loved it. After fishing we could go swimming and the captain slowly prepared the food. You had the choice of cooking or visiting a small town. The food was then served in a loving atmosphere. The food was super delicious and there was also a regional wine and raki. We can only recommend this tour because the small group sizes are brilliant. Many thanks to Georgios.

Outstanding day out. Comfortable, double-decker a/c coach. Guide George very competent, conscientious. Fluent in at least four languages. Incredible hiking experience, for nature, geology and dramatic views. Lovely ferry ‘cruise’ to connect back to the coach. Rugged walking shoes/boots definitely preferable to trainers (which a surprising number of people were wearing). Walking stick(s) recommended. There were plenty of (confident, sure-footed) children (incl some young children) doing walk.

Very good organization of the departure by bus, break for lunch, taking tickets (bring cash for the boat, preferably the exact amount) and return. The guide for these stages and her explanations in the bus were attentive to everyone understanding her in English. The site and the hike itself are superb! Done on the road at the end of the season, there were 200-300 of us on the site: perfect! Temperature from 1° at the start to 25° (which made the mast bath very pleasant on arrival)

Starting with the pick-up, which went really well, right up to our guide! A huge thank you to our guide Pia. She was always at our side and always helped us. This tour, even though very demanding, is always recommended.
