Full description
Discover a national treasure of Spain on a skip-the-line tour of Seville Cathedral. Meet your guide at the Monument to the Immaculate Conception and enter the world's largest Gothic church. Legend has it that construction of the cathedral began in the early 15th century. It was built over the site of the Aljama Mosque, which was destroyed when the city was re-conquered by the Christians. Admire the huge interior with its central nave and 4 side aisles. See lavish decorations that contrast with an overall sense of simplicity and restraint. Home to the richest altarpiece in the world, other highlights in the cathedral include the many chapels dedicated to saints and other important figures in the building's history. See the keys presented to Fernando by the Jewish and Moorish communities during the surrender of the city. Admire priceless stained-glass windows. Then go to the entrance to the Moorish minaret of La Giralda, which now functions as the cathedral’s bell tower. It is well worth a climb to the top!

Phenomenal Tour

Vincent was phenomenal. We took two tours with him during our time in Seville. Couldn’t have been more pleased. He was clear, gave chances to asks questions and added some humor. Glad we purchased the Early Access and went in the morning. Less crowded and we walked in as soon as the doors opened. Highly recommended.

Excellent informative guide, highly recommended

If you can request your guide, do so and ask for Vincente! Excellent and informative. Although the cathedral is beautiful, this tour is made so much more enjoyable by his friendly and unique way of communication. Bonus is, it is conducted solely in English, as we had requested and not bilingual as in some tours. Highly recommended

Amigo Tours Screwed up Again

The first tour we took to the Alcazar with Amigo, the guide never showed up and we had to argue to get a replacement. Amigo told us it was a technical issue with the website. This time we had a guide but no tickets and we had to wait an hour to get them. Instead of being the first in the Cathedral, there were mobs ahead of us. Both tours were excellent once we got in, so not the guides' fault. I would avoid Amigo tours until they get their systems fixed.
