Javier was a passionate presenter and took us around all the sites. He suggested photo angles and added some humor to his tour, which we all liked. His accent was difficult to understand but he acknowledged that and slowed down his explanation. But still it was was hard to catch everything he was saying. Overall I enjoyed the experience. Javier told a lot of 'doom and gloom' stories, I would encourage him to add some happy stories too.

Friendly guide, sometimes lacking anecdote on the site in general and especially on the gardens but very good explanatory visit, dynamic. Headphones are welcome given the size of the group. I recommend not to take a combined visit with the cathedral to have time to visit the gardens, because otherwise you cannot enjoy the park which is grandiose.

I was the only one who booked my time slot, so I ended up having a fantastic private tour with Javier! I really appreciated that the booking was honored and I got to have a much more in-depth experience. Javier is so passionate about the history, architecture, and storytelling of the Alcázar and gave a lot of detailed info. So glad I went!
