It was amazing to see how small the Nao Victoria was, and that the original ship had sailed around the world! Imagining the ship being buffeted by the Atlantic storms, with nowhere to sleep, except for cramming together on deck, in the semi-sheltered space in the bows! It was a humbling experience - such brave men. The museum building had a wonderful display, through three connecting rooms. There were displays showing the items that would have been taken on the ships and information about the planning, selection of crew and the whole story of the voyage. Fascinating to see and read it all. An excellent experience.

I didn't know that the Magellan elcano expedition begins @ Sevilla, for me this one was a surprise. Museum and nao Victoria replica are worth to visit. Especially the big map in the museum showing the whole voyage is very nice.

The historians present were brilliant in answering questions. The ship was interesting to be on and gain a perspective of the small quarters for three years!! The museum Nao Victoria is full of excellent video displaying the ships going through Magellan’s strait. The audio from Nao Victoria perspective is informative but because it’s coming from the ship’s perspective it’s also entertaining. Such an incredible museum. Definitely recommend the visit and plan on two-three hours.
