Full description

Board a boat in central Seville and embark on a cruise along the Guadalquivir River. First, discover the newest part of the city around the area of La Cartuja Island. Listen to informative live commentary from the captain such as about the 1992 Universal Exhibition Expo which was held to commemorate the 500-year anniversary of the discovery of America. Then, continue along the river through the historic center, passing under one of the oldest iron bridges in Europe - the Isabel Bridge II (popularly known as Triana Bridge). During the course of navigation, see more famous landmarks such as the Plaza de Toros de La Maestranza, Torre del Oro, Palacio de San Telmo, and many more.

Finally, pass by impressive buildings from the 1929 Ibero-American exhibition where the great architect Haníbal Gonzalez designed the great Plaza de España. As you soak up the view of the city, savor a selection of delicious local tapas served onboard including Iberian ham, salchichón, and cheese. Also, enjoy 1 drink per person including sangria, beer, or soft drinks. Return to the starting point and disembark where your memorable experience concludes.

The one-hour river trip is relaxing. The advertised tapas are vacuum-packed meats and cheese slices. There are many sights that cannot be seen from the river. The captain explains if there is something to explain. That's it. The boat has comfortable seat cushions and can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. We were 7. All in all a pleasant evening trip to relax.

Great small group cruise. The skipper was on time. The trip on the Guadalquivir is done in music. If you want to have another view of Seville, this is the activity to do. The only downside is that the tapas were vacuum-packed individual portions (certainly good ham + cheese) but that spoils the activity a bit. But to do without hesitation !!!
