Full description
You will depart from Seville to begin the journey, driving through the Sevillian countryside, surrounded by wheat and beautiful sunflower fields. You will stop at the 'Castle of Las Aguzaderas' - an interesting medieval building located at the old border among Catholic and Moorish kingdoms. Then, continue through the mountains stopping at Zahara de la Sierra, on the top of a steep hill. Zahara is famous for its views and history.  Here, you will have time to wander around, have a cup of coffee and visit a small olive oil factory which makes one of the best olive oils in the region. On the way to Grazalema, you will go through the Nature Park Sierra de Grazalema. You will see a range of amazing landscapes over the provinces of Cadiz, Malaga and Seville, from 'Puerto de las Palomas' which is 1157 meters above sea level. Also, you will get the chance to witness the wildlife in its natural habitat. These mountains are home to the largest colony of Griffon vultures in Spain. Once in Grazalema, there will be time to have a nice meal, surrounded by white houses and colorful flowers.     After lunch, you will leave Grazalema and head to Ronda. On the way you will cross a very beautiful Mediterranean forest full of cork trees and oaks where up to the present day, locals still work with cattle (Iberian pigs, goats and cows) and produce honey, cork, aromatic spices and wood. After an exciting morning, you will reach Ronda, one of the oldest towns in the country. Ronda is unique for its nature and history. It is built on two separate cliffs and the town is connected by a famous bridge, known as 'The New Bridge' despite the fact that it was built in the 18th century. In Ronda, you will have free time to explore the town's beauty.

Our Private tour provided by Guido was personally tailored to our desires and never felt rushed. My daughter and I felt safe and comfortable throughout and loved our stops and lunch in the White villages where we witnessed a Spanish Father's Day band competition, and we especially enjoyed the time granted to visit the bullring museum in Ronda. Guido was more than just an informed driver, and his upcoming retirement will be unfortunate for tourists, but well deserved nontheless.

I didn’t realize that I’d neglected to review our day trip to Ronda. We toured in October of 2019, completely unaware that the world was about to change, if not forever, then at least for a very long time. First, our guide (I forget his name but WOW was he amazing! Originally from Italy? His son still lived there? He had an apartment near a wonderful Italian restaurant in Seville? Sound familiar? If you’re reading this, THANK YOU for a wonderful carefree day and the many suggestions for restaurants and activities in Seville!). Our day included stopping at ancient ruins to explore, a coffee stop at a quaint little village, a stop at an amazing restaurant for lunch then arrival at Ronda. Our guide took our pictures at the iconic site below the bridge. We then explored the unforgettable town and cathedral. It was l lovely day. We saw a lot of the beautiful Spanish countryside. Our driver was conscientious about our safety and comfort. I highly recommend the private tour to Ronda.

Thank you Naturanda Turismo Ambiental for this tour. Luca was our guide. He made our trip an awesome trip with awesome experience sharing, illustrating history. He picked us up from our hotel. En route he stopped by beautiful castle called Casa Castillo de Las Aguzaderas. Visited the blossoming flower like village called Zahara and century old olive factory. Stopped by Grazalema and picturesque town of Ronda. We did some walking around the town after lunch. Luca was awesome to show city in different perspective and ingenious way. Both my wife and I enjoyed a lot and learnt a lot about the history of these place. Once again, we really appreciated this tour with Luca (from Naturanda Turismo Ambiental)! Thanking you once again.
