There are more than 400 water species presented in their various habitats and ecosystems in 35 aquariums. The main aquarium is the Oceanario, which contains 2 million liters of water and is nearly 9 meters high. It is one of the deepest shark aquariums in Spain. At Toca Toca, you can touch typical rock pool residents such as sea cucumbers, starfish and sea urchins, and at Los Bebes del Acuario you’ll see mermaid’s purses and eggs clinging to aquatic plants. Each tank has an LCD panel with information about the tank’s inhabitants. The 2 female sharks are housed in a vast tank, accompanied by grouper, mackerel, and tuna. As well as from the tunnel, you can see the tank’s inhabitants through windows positioned at different levels. The coral reef tanks feature colorful tropical fish with brilliant blue and yellow markings. Strange-looking species include pufferfish and pipefish. In addition, you’ll see reptiles such as tortoises, anacondas, boas, caimans, and sea turtles. Other sea creatures include squid, giant octopuses, and spider crabs. A shop offering fish-themed toys will delight the kids, and there’s also a café for a refreshment break.

If you book the Flamenco museum as part of your ticket it shuts at 6pm but you will be given a voucher to visit on another day. This is the only flamenco museum in the world.

Great show and dancers. Loved the setting and atmosphere. A visit to the museum was a worthy addition. Kids and I have really enjoyed it.
