It was a Great day out to Granada to see the Alhambra. Seeing this great monument was thd highlight of our tour. However as with seeing all these great monuments with an islamic heritage it left you with mixed emotional feeling's. Of the desecration that took place in the name of religion. It is a lesson for us all to learn from of what happens if we cannot respect and accept one another. Our guide Peter was very patient and knowledgeable as was Annie our guide in the Alhambra. The only negative was that we were not given any time to buy any souvenirs.

It was a long day (13 hrs), spent 5 1/2 hrs driving to Granada and back. The mini van was pretty tight with 8 passengers. Overall, the trip was well worth spending the whole day and the evening. The guided tour was excellent and the guide knew her stuff about the Alhambra and the surrounding sites. I wished we could have started an hour earlier than 9 o’clock start.

The experience was good, our Driver-Guide to Granada, Peter, had a lot of knowledge about the history of Seville and Granada. I can suggest that some kind of voice amplification system be installed in the vehicle, since those in the back practically neither heard nor understood what Peter was saying. Otherwise Peter was very friendly, enthusiastic and although he is German, he spoke Spanish very well.
