One of the best days ever! Our guide Alexis was exceptional. Andalsur Excursuons is an outstanding tour company. Very good communication throughout so we never had a concern. They personalized their program for us with private round trip car transfers and other extras. We were well cared for throughout the day. Fernando, our local Alhambra guide, was also excellent. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a restaurant in the Albacin, walked through time in the streets and enjoyed a view of the Alhambra from the tower of the church. Couldn’t have done this on own own I highly recommend Andalsur Excursions!

The Alhambra is huge and it enhanced our visit so much to have a knowledgeable guide who knew the history and importance of the site. It was also nice to have a competent driver from Seville so we didn’t have to worry about driving ourselves to Grenada and back. Having a private guide allowed us to go at our own pace and concentrate on places that interested us and ask any question we wanted. It was a wonderful day and well worth it for us.

Full description

Depart Seville and travel to Granada for a guided tour of the vast palace and gardens of the Alhambra. Benefit from the services of an official guide to get expert interpretations of the city's history. Explore every corner of the former fortress of the Nasrid rulers, such as the chambers of the Mexuar, Comares Palace and the magnificent Palace of the Lions (Palacio de los Leones). Visit the sultan’s summer palace and marvel at the gardens of the Generalife. Drive into the historic city center for lunch (own expense) and a private guided walking tour of the Albaicín quarter. Stroll down narrow streets past whitewashed houses, churches, gardens and flower-filled balconies.

Incredible experience with Guillermo visiting Alhambra and Albaicin. The first class service made for a relaxing trip as we didn’t have to worry about how to get to Granada and back. The palace was mindblowing and so worth the trip to see it.
