Antonio was the best guide. It was great that he picked us up at the hotel because it was an hour ride to the boat ride and tile factory. It was very foggy in the morning so we walked around town and drove to the tile factory and had a very informative tour of the place. We did some scenic drives but couldn’t see a lot because of the fog. We had time to eat at a delicious restaurant by the sea. The fresh swordfish and mussels and strawberries with whipped cream were delicious! The boat ride is the medium size rubber raft was so much fun! The dolphins came close to the boat and there was a lot of them. The boat captain was very knowledgeable about the dolphins and made us feel safe at all times. I highly recommend the trip. On the way back to the city we stopped at the huge tower with Christ on top and got a great view of the bridge there that looks like the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco.

I loved the views we stopped to enjoy. Stunning. The wine tour and tasting was great, although the end, the actual tasting, seemed a bit rushed. Would’ve liked to spend more time enjoying that and with more substantive snacks than just crackers. Natalia was knowledgeable and good company. She was kind enough to help me find where I was supposed to take the ferry from Sesimbra to Comporta. The private tour was fun and I’d recommend it.

The entire day was terrific, with a good combination of looking at old castles, tasting wine, looking at famous spots and generally gaining an impression of the Setubal region. Our tour guide Pedro was really really good, very helpful and also informative about the history and culture of the region.

Natalia is a natural speaker. She gave us so much information throughout the tour and knew so many things about the area. It was a long day and yet it seemed to go by so quickly. We enjoyed all of the stops we visited.
