An absolute highlight of our vacation

We were picked up at our hotel by our guide José and drove to the Arrabida nature reserve. Our group consisted of only 2 people, which was very pleasant. A group size of 4 people would be just as good. To get to the climbing wall, you had to climb a little through the nature reserve. The trip was worth it for that alone. Our guide explained to us on site what we had to consider. His English was easy to understand and he gave a lot of help with climbing. After we had exhausted ourselves we went to a winery José Maria da Fonseca in Azeitão. There we got an exclusive guided tour followed by a tasting. Our guide also showed us a specialty from Azeitão, namely the "Torta de Azeitão". You should definitely try it. All in all a wonderful trip and great guide!

Fantastic day in cliffs of Arrábida!

We had a lovely day in the cliffs of Arrábida. José came to pick us up and was a great guide telling us about the nature, the culture and food of the area. We had a great time climbing and José was very helpful in giving tips on the different routes he set up for us. Big plus for the safety first-mentality and focus on having fun! After 4 hours of climbing the wine tasting was a perfect activity to end with. We had a great day and we will be back for more! :)
