It was an easy hike on a packed dirt path around the lake, very little of it uphill. Picnic lunch was very nice . They took us to Ferraria beach afterwards . Amazing views . The reason I gave it 4 stars is that they ended it sooner than expected. We were back at the hotel at 4 . I would have appreciated doing more since it’s billed as 8 hour trip .

Great day… for four people with a very nice young guide… crazy landscapes… green walks… swimming in sea water at 38 degrees…. Sunny day… (which is rather rare in the Azores even in August !!! !)… Everything is perfect except the picnic… a shame… inedible… while the food is not expensive in the Azores…. Unripe fruit with a tiny sandwich… dry… and a small brick of filthy juice… in short .. not a bottle of water .... in the description of the day we talked about a snack ... nothing other than these three tiny filthy things all day long .... too bad it ruins the price ...

Beautiful locations. The 2 girls who were the guides for this tour are very kind and smiling. We had a great experience together and we had a great time. I recommend this tour and this agency.
