Upon arrival at Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, visitors can engage in a variety of activities that allow for close encounters with wildlife. Guests are given an hour to feed, pet, and take photographs with animals such as African lions, Masai giraffes, bat-eared foxes, elands, ostriches, and monkeys. These interactions are designed to be positive for both the animals and the guests; trained keepers supervise all encounters to ensure safety and animal welfare. Wildlife Interaction Experience The sanctuary emphasizes creating enriching experiences for its animals by allowing them to choose when they want to interact with guests. Your adventure with Season Master Adventures begins with a convenient 8:30 AM pick-up from your hotel in Arusha / Moshi, followed by a scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive to the Serval Wildlife sanctuary. As you leave the vibrant city behind, you'll feel the anticipation building for an exciting day in nature. Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff at Serval Wildlife. They will introduce you to the center’s remarkable conservation efforts, sharing insights into the important work they do to protect endangered species. As you settle in you'll also learn about the fascinating wildlife you’ll soon encounter, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. At Serval Wildlife, your time is limited to a maximum of two hours, ensuring a focused and immersive experience. You’ll begin with a visit to the Conservation Center, where you’ll gain valuable insights into their ongoing efforts to protect endangered species. Through interactive presentations and discussions with the team, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for the important work being done here. Following this, embark on a guided bush walk where you can explore the surrounding landscape, spot unique flora, and enjoy some bird-watching. Your guide will introduce you to the smaller wildlife that often goes unnoticed but plays a crucial role in the ecosystem. Before wrapping up, experience the thrill of animal feeding, a unique opportunity to get up close to iconic species, including lions. Capture memorable photos as you participate in this special interaction, all while supporting the center’s mission to protect these majestic animals. After completing your two-hour visit, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha. Along the way, stop for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, where you can relax and reflect on your day. Your tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Serval Wildlife experience.

The ride to the hot springs takes about an hour and leads partly over bumpy slopes. First we go past sugar cane plantations, then we come to the African scrubland. Dried river beds, baobab and acacia trees accompany us on our way. The hot springs of Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka Hot Springs, are close to the village of Rundugai and are one of the most beautiful places in Tanzania to relax. The small pond is surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots. In the morning, Blue Monkeys can often be observed in the trees, whilst the crystal clear, turquoise water invites you to a refreshing bath. Although they are called hot springs, the water in Kikuletwa is not truly ‘hot’ rather warm and refreshing, as the water source is fed by Kilimanjaro itself. Enjoy a wonderful day in just the way you want, in the sun chatting with the locals at the small bar, swimming. At noon we will have a picnic lunch, and in the late afternoon we return relaxed to Moshi. This is a luxury ecotourism lodge and wildlife haven tucked away in the Siha District of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Come explore our carefully curated ecosystem with over 3000 hand-planted endemic flora that directly benefits the exquisite animals that reside within Serval Wildlife, whilst you enjoy the mesmerizing views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. It is home to a variety of different animals such as the Majestic African Lions, Calm Colo-bus Monkeys, Graceful Masai Giraffes, Nocturnal Bat-eared Foxes, Exquisite Elands, Oafish Ostriches, and Mischievous Blue & Vervet monkeys! After the chemka hot springs you will drive to Serval wildlife and spend two hours with the animals there after you will ride back to your drop off place.
