Ready to experience the most iconic features of the Yosemite Valley? 1: Yosemite Valley Highlights Morning (Easy-Moderate): Tunnel View: This iconic viewpoint is a MUST STOP for all visitors. Take in the famous view of El Cap, Bridalviel Falls, Half Dome and Clouds Rest. This view is a great stop for photos! Yosemite Falls Viewpoint: Drive to Yosemite Valley and begin your day by visiting the Yosemite Falls Viewpoint. This iconic waterfall is one of the tallest in North America, and you can get a stunning view from this spot. Cook’s Meadow Loop: Enjoy a leisurely stroll through Cook’s Meadow to get picturesque views of Half Dome and other famous landmarks. Lower Yosemite Falls Trail: Take a short walk (about 1 mile round trip) to the base of the falls to feel the mist and witness the power of the cascading water. Lunch Option: Picnic at one of the designated picnic areas in Yosemite Valley, or head to the Yosemite Village for dining options. Valley View: See the iconic view that Ansel Adams loved to photograph! This short stop is on the way out of Yosemite Valley with gorgeous views of Bridalviel and El Cap. 2. Afternoon Options: Glacier Point (Summer/ Fall/ Early Winter): Drive up to Glacier Point (approximately 1.5 hours from the valley), where you can witness breathtaking panoramic views of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, and Yosemite’s high country. There are also various hiking trails available at Glacier Point. Mariposa Grove: Did you know that Yosemite has Giant Sequoias too? You visit the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Take a peaceful walk among these ancient and giant trees. Vernal Falls Footbridge: This short but moderately challeging hike takes you to the footbridge of Vernal Falls which gives you a gorgeous view of the waterfall.

Take in the fascinating scenery of Sequoia National Park on a rewarding hiking tour with a hotel transfer from Fresno. Make your way through the forest in the company of your guide and admire panoramic views of the valley from a mountain summit while you enjoy lunch. Get picked up from your hotel and start your adventure by heading over to Clingans Junction for coffee, tea, and some delicious pastries and treats. Then, strap on your hiking shoes to explore the Giant Forest. Come across the world's largest tree and walk through a meadow surrounded by sequoias. Enjoy lunch on top of a mountain with gorgeous views of the valley down below. Once you’re acclimated to the altitude, seize the option to hike Moro Rock or Topokah Falls. Stop by the Giant Forest Museum and Visitor Center to grab any souvenirs before driving back to your accommodation.

Enjoy a nice walk through the Giant Forest while we walk down a paved trail to the world’s largest tree, the General Sherman Tree. From there we will walk deeper into the Giant Forest. Along the way we will learn about the wildlife and plants that call this forest their home. Keep a watchful eye for a chance to see some of them in real life. If we are lucky we might even stumble into a black bear or two! This is a private group tour, so only you and up to seven of your people will be the only ones on the tour. We will meet at the Trailhead for the Sherman Tree Trail which is conveniently located next to the restrooms and shuttle stop at the Upper Sherman Parking Lot. This is where our tour will end as well. Leading you on this two hour hike is a professional tour guide who has lived in and worked in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks since 2014. With a degree in wildlife biology and a passed career of chasing black bears out of campgrounds. You will not only have access to over six years of tour guiding and astronomy knowledge but also a wide range of fact, stories, theories and jokes. Mostly puns :) On this tour you are guaranteed to see sequoia trees, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, amazing views and more. Black bears and mule deer are on random occurrences. About the experience: 2 day tour from Los Angeles to Yosemite and Sequoia National parks for 1-3 people. I will pick you up at your location. Then we will drive to Sequoia National park. We will visit a few locations there such as General Sherman Tree, Tunnel Log and others. Stay at a hotel. The next day we will go to Yosemite National park. We will visit: Tunnel view, Yosemite valley view, Sentinel bridge and other locations. And then go back to Los Angeles.
