Full description
Ride a Segway around Seoul's Old Town and discover palaces, traditional architecture, markets, and local cuisine. Choose from 2 different routes, with one running in the morning and one in the afternoon. Get some time to practice using your Segway before setting off on your tour. Start your adventure at the meeting point. On the morning tour, roll away to your first stop, Gyeongbokgung Palace. Park your Segway and head into the palace. You will then get thorough explanations about Korean history, the palace, and more. Watch the Royal Guard changing ceremony before heading to Bukchon Hanok Village, where you can find an array of traditional Korean houses. After riding around the village, visit Jogyesa Buddhist Temple and its neighborhood area, Insadong, which is filled with art and antique shops. For lunch, stop at Tongin Traditional Market, where you can make DIY lunch boxes. Choose a variety of foods from many vendors in the market, like a buffet. The menu includes chicken skewers, veggie pancakes, noodles, stir-fried food, and more. For the afternoon tour, ride your Segway from the meeting point to Changdeokgung Palace. After learning the Josen Dynasty's history, visit Ikseondong, where you can find an array of traditional Korean houses. Enjoy the village on a comfortable Segway ride without having to walk up the hill, and see a variety of scenic cafes, restaurants, and silverware shops. After exploring this trendy labyrinth, ride back on your Segway to Gwangjang Traditional Market, and sample some of the best Korean mung bean pancakes here. After the market visit, glide alongside Cheonggyechon Stream to finally arrive at your dinner restaurant, known for quality Korean pork barbeque. All tours end after parking the Segways back near the meeting point.
