Full description

Located just 63 kilometers away from Seoul, Nami Island is a popular getaway spot for both locals and tourists. The area is famous for its magnificent tree-lined roads. There are different activities available on the island or you can simply relax and enjoy the wonderful views in the area.  Petite France is a little vibrant French village that stands out with its brightly colored buildings. This village consists of many photo-worth spots that were featured on dramas and variety shows, such as “Beethoven Virus”, “Secret Garden”, “Running Man” and the most recent, “You Who Came From The Stars”.

The Italian village Pinocchio and Da Vinci is a new attraction next to Petite France. It is the only theme park in Korea that has officially partnered with the Collodi Foundation. Through this, Italian author Carlo Collodi's fairy tale The Adventures of Pinocchio could be realized in the form of exhibitions and performances. If you choose the rail bike option, you will see an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track for you to spend some quality time in nature with your friends and family. With this option, you will visit the Rail Bike station in the morning before your visit to Nami Island and Petite France.

Lovely guide, comfy coach, and beautiful scenery on the way to the island. Nami island is wonderful, with friendly rabbits and peacocks wandering around. Petite France is however a complete waste of time. Doesn't actually look like France at all, and there are lots of musty smelling exhibits. Cafe awful. Do nami and something else!

Our guide Josh was at the meeting point on time. I loved my visit to Petite France, a small town close to soul with little shops and cafe and very scenic view. The ferry ⛴ ride to Nami island was picturesque. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the bus tour did not have any English commentary by the guide, so we couldn’t understand the history of the island. Wish they could work on that part. Being Muslim tourist we were pleasantly surprised to see the the prayer room on the island but disappointed to see the halal Asian family restaurant was closed due to renovations. Hope they open it up soon. Josh our guide was helpful and kept communicating with us regarding the timeline. Overall a good experience!!

A great trip, but maybe more for non-Europeans. Nami Island was very interesting, beautiful and the prices were "OK". The whole island is 100% designed for photo spots and you can snap a photo anywhere. It's fun and beautiful. Petite France and the new Italy part are now less interesting for me as a German. All clichés are served and after I've walked through it once I sat down on a bench and ate ice cream. Since the stay there was only 1:30h, it was bearable even at 35° in the shade. The tour guide Kelly and the driver were super nice and the driver was super quick (I'm positive) on the road. Was an experience, I personally don't need it anymore (maybe in 10 years or so).
