Full description
Learn about the history of the must-see sights in Seoul with a professional guide on a comfortable full-day bus tour, to see the best the city has to offer. After pickup from your hotel, begin your tour with a visit to Jogye Temple, famous for its beautiful lotus lanterns hanging from the ceilings. Next, head to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the former royal residence of the Joseon dynasty, to see the changing of the Royal Guard ceremony. After the ceremony, discover the palace and learn the history of the Joseon dynasty. Pose as royalty wearing the traditional Korean hanbok. Next you'll pass the Blue House to see the residence of Korea's president. Stop at Insadong to enjoy lunch, an area filled with old streets and shops. Walk through the beautiful alleys lined with handicrafts shops and street food stalls. This is the best place to purchase souvenirs and gifts. Your guide will take you to one of the most famous hanbok shops in Seoul, where you can try on hanbok and take pictures in the studio. In the afternoon you'll visit Bukchon Hanok Village, or Namsan Hanok Village on Sundays, to see traditional Korean houses. Then, admire panoramic views over Seoul from Palgakjeong, a huge gazebo on Bugak Mountain. Your day will end with free time at Myeongdong shopping area. This bustling district is packed with people at all hours enjoying shopping, street food and nightlife. You can buy trendy beauty products and try local street food such as hotteok (sweet pancakes with honey), skewered fish cakes, gimbap (a seaweed rice roll), and more. Choose to stay at Myeongdong or enjoy the drop off back at your hotel.

It was a good and relaxed tour. Group of 8 seemed perfect and company was very comfortable. Our guide, Annie, was very flexible and smart as she adjusted our schedule to visit the palace first. Since we all wanted the Hanbok clothes, we were able to dress up before the place became crowded. The only thing we didn’t see was the hanging lanterns.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our tour guide was Stella and she was funny and entertaining the whole day. Our day started with her walking up to the hotel and walking us back to the car then having everyone in the van introduce ourselves since we'd be spending the whole day together. She then took us all over town and showed us the top 5 places to see and provided fun facts along the way. We thought our day wouldnt be as good but as Stella said "the rain will not drown her passion" amazing tour. I highly reccomend to anyone who is in Seoul.

Tour guide was very efficent and the Hanbok dressing was super fun.

Our Tour guide Cindy was very kind, has lots of enery and was well-informed about our destinations and the history, which she could well explain. The Temples were beautiful and the Hanbok dressing was so much fun in the studio, in my opinion much better then outside in the burnning sun and to many crowded people at the attractions. Was the suggestion of our experienced tour guide. I recommed it.
