Great guide on this tour. The stops were timed just right. I would have liked more time but I’m a history and museum greek. So just enough to see and for everyone else to come and go. Overall left 9:30am, did not do the suspension bridge, back by ~4:30pm (7hrs). Yeoni, our guide, was very informative and fun. She had a great use of visuals while on bus making use of time to give the important and necessary background to appreciate what were about to see. Most importantly she knew her stuff and got her facts right, and boiled it down in very simple way. Also able to draw on her own personal experiences. She was able to give far more than I was expecting having been on some other tours the days before. A+ job.

Full description

Meet your friendly and knowledgeable tour guide in the morning at the hotel. (hotel pick up is available only downtown hotel where we can park the bus) Head to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and see the strip of land between North and South Korea that symbolizes a decades-long conflict and an important chapter of world history. Start your tour at Imjingpak Park, situated only 7 km from the Demarcation Line, a tribute to the Korean War. Visit its observatory, monuments, and the Freedom Bridge, which was used to transport 13,000 prisoners home after the war. Continue to the Third Infiltration Tunnel, discovered in 1978, and witness an incomplete tunnel built by North Korea into the South that was denounced by the UN. Descend into history at the Dora Observatory and see into North Korea. Lastly, head to Dorasan Station, the last station before the DMZ and symbolic of the hope of reunification. (Dorasan station is temporarily closed by the military). Be dropped off at the City Hall in Seoul after the tour. If you chose the with suspension bridge option, we will visit the suspension bridge and see the beautiful view as well.

All guest MUST bring the passport. (military ID/ ARC is fine).
