Enjoy a 4-hour afternoon tour that will show you Seoul from a different perspective. Take a river cruise and learn about the Han river, experience the COEX Aquarium and Bongusa Temple, and visit an Amethyst factory.
What to Expect
Your tour begins with collection from your hotel. The first stop on your Seoul adventure will be the Coex Aquarium, which boasts more than 40,000 fish of 500 different species, and dozens of large sharks. You will then take a 1-hour cruise on the Han river, which will allow you to see the city from the water. The boat will take you through the capital from east to west. In inclement weather, the cruise will be replaced with a visit to Trick Eye Museum.
Next, visit an amethyst factory, followed by a trip to the Bongunsa Temple. This temple dates back to 794, the period of King Wonseong of the Silla Kingdong. Its Sutra Hall boasts a commemorative wooden tablet inscribed by the nation’s most-celebrated calligrapher, Chusa Kim Jeong-hui (1786-1856). After the temple, you will be returned to your hotel.
