Our guide Gabby was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The van was very luxurious and clean. We booked the half day trip and it was perfect for us. We were able to visit a temple, the palace and witness the changing of the guard ceremony and tour the entire grounds. I wish we had just a little more time at the folk museum to view the exhibits, but I'd still recommend the tour for those who want to see these amazing historic sites with a great guide like Gabby.

* Itinerary: Pick up from Hotel in Downtown or meet your guide at the designated meeting point - Jogyesa Buddhist Temple - Changing of the Guard Ceremony - Gyeongbok Palace - National Folk Museum - Pass by Blue House - Ginseng Museum & Shop - Drop off at Myeongdong or City Hall area. Jogyesa Temple – Discover the Heart of Korean Buddhism Jogyesa was built in 1395 and features a mix of both royal and temple architectural elements. Here you will see the golden Buddha statues and the iconic lanterns of Jogyesa. You will be able to explore the Hill of Supreme Bliss (Geuknakjeon) which is where the Buddha was enshrined. Jogyesa features the Daeungjeon (Main Buddha Hall) which is decorated with pine wood from the Baekdu Mountain. Here, you will be able to hear holy chanting. Gyeongbok Palace Our Gyeongbok Palace tour is perfect for those who have an appetite for history and love to follow in the footsteps of the kings and queens from the Joseon Dynasty. In addition, you can find 14 of South Korea’s National Treasures located here. With 500 years of history on display, you can get a real sense of the past and discover what it was like to live as a Joseon King and Queen. * Gyeongbok Palace (with Changing of Guard Ceremony) & National Folk Museum are closed on every Tuesday.
