Seoul: DMZ 3rd Tunnel Tour (Optional Suspension Bridge)

Meet your friendly and knowledgeable tour guide in the morning at the meeting place you chose. Head to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and see the strip of land between North and South Korea that symbolizes a decades-long conflict and an important chapter of world history. Start your tour at Imjingpak Park, situated only 7 km from the Demarcation Line, a tribute to the Korean War. Visit its observatory, monuments, and the Freedom Bridge, which was used to transport 13,000 prisoners home after the war. Continue to the Third Infiltration Tunnel, discovered in 1978, and witness an incomplete tunnel built by North Korea into the South that was denounced by the UN. Descend into history at the Dora Observatory and see into North Korea. Lastly, head to Dorasan Station, the last station before the DMZ and symbolic of the hope of reunification. (Dorasan station is temporarily closed by the military). Be dropped off at the City Hall in Seoul after the tour.
