It was a really enjoyable although very tiring day trip. We really enjoyed the experience of driving around Fathala and Abdoulie’s immense knowledge, patience and professionalism. Abdoulie was a joy to engage with both in the run up and during the day. He was responsive providing information before and extremely attentive and diligent on the day. Him and his team of drivers and our assigned Fathala guide made the day extremely memorable. Abdoulie supported at ferry, at the border, in finding good food and in always enquiring on how we were and what we enjoyed. Be prepared for a chaotic day navigating the unpredictable times of the ferry but all under the guidance of this great team. Travellers should be warned that this can become a full and long day with a lot of time spent waiting for the ferry on either side. That did not take away from the fun of the day and the ever memorable assault of the sense that came as part of the ferry experience! A thoroughly recommended day trip!
