fantastic experience! starting with the transportation (on an open pick-up truck "people carrier"). The guide Felix gave us plenty of time to first go up to the mirador (breathtaking view) and then enjoy the natural pools without any rush. Lunch break at a restaurant. Afterwards we went to la cueva and had an incredible experience inside the dark marine cave lit by our candles. To finish, dives from the waterfalls and a ride on a donut carried by the current. useful information: the meeting point "restaurante champey" is correct but the restaurant has another name (there is parking). Bring good shoes for tracking (shoes for the marine part can be rented from the children who attack you when you get there).
This tour was absolutely fantastic! Of course it was exhausting for us and the driver, but you know from the start what you're getting into. The journey can take a little longer due to traffic, but we were happy to accept that. The Semuc Champeys were worth it and our driver/guide was a kind and fantastic guide! Thank you Ludwin!
I really enjoy the whole tour. Hiking, swimming in the nature pool, in the cave, jumping in to the river, swinging and jumping into the river and turbing to the end. It was fun and challenging.
The activity is super complete, entertaining and physically challenging because many parts of the routes are slippery or covered in mud.
Great shuttle bus, safe driver, 3 stops, beautiful scenery and Semuc Champey was worth it.
