The views of Dollol geothermal landscape with its colourful and unique shape formations are real remarkable. The Erka Ale volcano and its crater activities are simply out of this world. Getting so close to the Volcanic activities are stimulating and exciting. The tour is perfectly organised and the guide and driver are very professional. They are knowledgeable about the places and points of interest. But anyway, this tour is not for the ordinary faint hearted guys. one needs to thoroughly know what to expect in terms of the travelling conditions before signing up this trip.

A breathtaking tour, perfectly organized by the Ethio Travel & Tours team. We also had a fun and informative time in the car with our driver, Hermes (I hope I spelled his name correctly). In addition to the already spectacular tour, there were also some nice surprises along the way. I highly recommend the tour and the organization! The only drawback was the toilet situation at the overnight camps – at least pit toilets would be good to keep the area clean with the high number of tourists.

This tour was nothing short of incredible! Our guide Tefsa!, showcased the region and answered any questions we had. The highlight was the volcano even though you dont't camp at the crater anymore! Seeing it at night will give you lasting memories and leave you in awe of the power of the land

I'm always hestitant to book a group tour, because you never know what to really expect. But it was such a joyful time. Mostly because of the kind and helpful drivers, the cooks, the guides. You are being taken care of.
