You’ll depart Strasbourg in the morning and make your first stop on this day-long tour in Colmar. I welcome you to the cellar with a glass of wine to start the tasting. We will then watch an informative video on the Alsace wine-making process (adapted for children). I will take you to visit the family cellar dating back to 1850, and discover the century-old oak barrels that we still use to make our wines. In 2020 following the organic conversion of my entire estate, we renovated our cellar and use now of this new space to offer our visitors a new activity. We have a scenographic experience in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected on barrels : unique in France... It is a film about my rather rich personal history, and about my work philosophy. The whole video is projected in the cellar, on century-old oak barrels at 180° (mapping on some sequences) with sound work, throwing the audience in total immersion in my story. We will continue this "Wine time" (tea time around wine) in our tearoom with sweet and salty delicacies : cheese, delicatessen, macaron, gingerbread, fruit, chocolate coulis and fruit coulis. You also cannot register the children, and they can choose a snack directly here. A guide is at your disposal throughout the visit to exchange and answer your questions. Discover our winery and our history with a visite through the cellar, the underground tanks and the evolution of the winery until its 4th generation. After, a tasting of our wines while you learn all the secrets of the wine world.The visit starts with a close view of the history of the winery, how it started and how it has evolved. Then a complete tour of the winery through every step of the winemaking process. All questions are welcome! You'll get a sens of the fermentation process, maceration and ageing process of wine. Finally, a great taste of delicious Alsace wine will make you discover your own tastes and likes. There are no limits on the wines you can taste, so that you get to know the difference between a dry and sweet wine, red or white or even our special crémant d'Alsace (sparkling). Blind experience and winery visit (15€ p/p) Wake up your senses with an unusual tasting where the aromas and flavours will make you discover wine differently. Visit our winery and our history with a guided tour through the cellar, the underground tanks and the evolution of the winery until its 4th generation. After that, a playfull experience of blind tasting : would you be able to recognise a white, a rosé and a red wine in a black glass ? Free tasting after the visit. Wine pairings and visit of the winery (22€ p/p) Visit our winery with the guide going through the cellar, the underground tanks and the evolution of the winery until its 4th generation. After, taste 4 wines with their perfect pairings. We work with local and fresh products of the season. We are partners with the shops of the village and the bakery to offer you a tasting plate with 4 appetizers : pâté en croûte, smocked salmon, cheese and chocolate. This visit is free for kids under 18 years old. Although this free ticket doesn’t include the tasting plate. If you want to add a plate for the kid, there is an extra 5 €. This formule includes 4 appetizers and a glass of grape juice.

During a day trip, you will travel by minibus from Basel to the beautiful region of Alsace in France. Your adventure begins with a visit to the charming medieval town of Colmar, known for its well-preserved old town, colorful half-timbered houses, and picturesque canals. Next, the journey takes you to the majestic Hohkönigsburg castle. Perched high on a hill, this stunning castle offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside. You'll have the opportunity to tour the castle, learning about its rich history and strategic importance in the region. Afterward, the tour continues to another enchanting medieval town, Ribeauvillé. Here, you can wander through the narrow streets, admire the historic architecture, and perhaps taste some local Alsatian wines. The town's unique blend of French and German cultures is reflected in its delightful shops and restaurants. The tour concludes with a scenic drive back to Basel, allowing you to relax and reflect on the day's experiences. The trip ends at the original meeting point, leaving you with wonderful memories of your visit to Alsace.

It takes 1 hour (72 km). 13:00 - 14:30 Arrival in Rouen. 3 courses Lunch at the oldest French restaurant La Couronne since 1345. It is a Michelin restaurant of classic French cuisine. This historic establishment boasts a rich culinary tradition and has welcomed numerous celebrities and artists over the centuries. 14:30 - 15:45 Walking tour of Rouen starts. Rouen is the capital of the Duke of Normandy, the city of a hundred bell-towers, famous for its Gothic cathedrals. Here You will have the opportunity to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral of the XIII - XVI centuries, known throughout the world in the paintings of Monet, the area of the Vieux Marché (Old Market), the place of execution of Joan d'Arc and the Church of Joan d'Arc, the Palace of justice of the XVI century, to see the old medieval clock Gros-Horloge on the pedestrian street.
