Segway to the dramatic Chapel of the Holy Cross, built into the red-rock mesas of Arizona in the Coconino National Forest. Glide gracefully along bike paths through Oak Creek Valley, and enjoy sublime panoramas.
What to Expect
Glide through Sedona on a state-of-the-art Segway and visit architects Marguerite Bruswig Staude and Richard Hein’s majestic Chapel of the Holy Cross, built into the red sandstone mesas of northern Arizona’s Coconino National Forest.
Meet your guide and get an orientation session on the self-balancing Segway. Then set off along dusky bike paths and trails to see the sights and sounds of Red Rock country from a unique perspective.
Coast past beautiful homes and neighborhoods in Sedona, and admire the stunning vistas of the surrounding table mountains and sheer rock drops, sculpted by millions of years of geologic activity. Stop at the Chapel of the Holy Cross long enough to step inside, and take photos of the inspiring structure, wedged between a twin-pinnacled spur. Then zigzag your way back down to Sedona for the end of your tour.
