Vortex Yoga Hiking: Half-Day in Sedona

3. Vortex Yoga Hiking: Half-Day in Sedona

As we embark on our hike, perhaps we’ll take a moment to start with a brief breathing exercise, visualization, or meditation so we are better able to integrate our intentions with the supportive energies of the Sedona vortex. We have found that it is helpful to do this at a later part in the hike as well. Another part of our half-day experience together will involve a walking chocolate meditation. This is a pleasurable form of mindfulness meditation that provides the same benefits as other forms of meditation with the built-in reward of chocolate! We will find the right spot on our hike for 45 minutes to 1 hour of yoga practice. As the tours are typically private groups our practice is geared to the level and preference of most individuals in the group. We will also integrate Qigong into the practice. Have the opportunity to engage in educational conversation, take photos and continue hiking if you choose.

Just the right amount of time and information. Avery was a great guide, and the scenery was awesome. The trolly was a bit old with a bench seat for 3 slim people…we had the opposite. I did see there was a newer trolly with individual seats. Don’t know if that would make a difference? Overall a good value for the price and well organized.

We had a perfect day of enjoyment. Our guide Noah was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We would definitely recommend to everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! John was a very knowledgeable tour guide, and he prepared a very nice lunch too!

Amazing experience! So blessed to have Scott as our vortex guide. Worth every penny…

Very interesting and well-informed info on Sedona and the tour route was great.
