This is the perfect option for anyone looking to get the best views of the Grand Canyon with no stress. We wanted a way to get to the Grand Canyon from Sedona without the struggle of driving there, finding parking, figuring out the best views, etc. Our guide, Cat was absolutely excellent and provided interesting information about our surroundings throughout our whole day. We started in Sedona, picked up some groups in Flagstaff (the drive to Flagstaff is beautiful), and stopped in Williams where we got a good look at Route 66 and headed to the train from there. The train ride was a fun experience and offered snacks for purchase with fun musical entertainment. We stopped off at a cafeteria at the Grand Canyon for lunch, which had good food options for a great value. You’ll finish the day with great views of the canyon and drive back through the Navajo and Hopi reservations. A fun full day of activities!
We decided not to take the train but to stay with the van. Our guide, Sheldon Finkelstein, was amazing!He is knowledgeable and congenial plus he made sure we saw some great sites just a bit off the beaten path. I highly recommend Sheldon and much prefer to spend my time in the Grand Canyon park rather than on a train.
