The Sea to Sky Gondola is a great place to visit. But I had a terrible experience on Sea to Sky Highway when I'm on the way back home. The highway is FULLY CLOSED for 7 hours from 8:45pm to 03:45am because of the motorcycle incident. All vehicles were stopped and no access to food, water, and washroom.

Awesome adventure. We had a snowy day so maybe we could not take advantage of views out far away, but the fresh snow we had while on top made up for it giving us a different kind of view. We enjoyed our stay at the top with great warm drinks at the bar and some wine. The bridge once up top was great(some in our group could not go on it, too scared, haha) A great stop on way to Whistler.

For me it was scary as I am scared of heights but, I was with my wife and her niece which they enjoyed so much. The view was amazing (while trembling looking at it) when we're going up as it was clear skies. Going down was favorable on my side as it was cloudy/foggy LOL. At the top of the mountain there are trails to venture. We were also lucky that it was just the three of us in the car going up and down - I guess it's not in the busy time (3 to 4pm).
