Ours was a small group, which made it really cool. Tour guide, Martin was very entertaining and knowledgeable. He said he’s been giving the tour for 8 years! You could tell. He was very thorough and could answer every question we had. The only thing that would make this tour better was if the tour could include going inside the houses/sites.

I did the tour in August after all the kids had gone back to school, so I ended up being the only person on the tour which was fabulous! Savanna is the most beautiful city in United States I do believe. The guide was very knowledgeable about the book and related it to his personal experience during the time it was written. As you may know, many of the characters in the book were real life people so for me it was just really enjoyable.

We loved the tour. It was a great overview of not only the book/movie but also the city overall. Martin had great stories and so much knowledge about the area. It was a great way to see the city, get the history of many landmarks in the book and hear personal insight as well.
