Ötztal: Canyoning at Alpenrosenklamm for Beginners

Set off on a guided canyoning trip through Alpenrosenklamm, and explore this beautiful gorge in the Tyrolean Alps. Enjoy a thrilling experience filled with jumps, natural waterslides, and rappelling. Head to the meeting point and get kitted out with the canyoning equipment. Afterwards, drive to the entrance of Alpenrosenklamm, where your certified guide will give a safety briefing. Abseil into the gorge from a bridge and listen to the sound of waterfalls echoing off the cliffs. Make your way through Alpenrosenklamm, jumping off rocks into pools and abseiling down cliffs. The highlight of the tour is a 5-meter-high water slide carved from the rock. After this, the canyon becomes wider and you’ll reach the final rappel. Board the vehicle to return to the base, where you’ll enjoy access to hot showers and an outdoor swimming pool.

Ötztal: Imster Canyon Rafting Trip with Lunch

Ötztal: Imster Canyon Rafting Trip with Lunch

Take a guided rafting trip in the Tyrolean Alps, with a stop for lunch cooked on an open fire. Admire the scenery of the Imster Canyon and enjoy a day of adventure. Meet at the local partner’s base to collect your equipment and get changed. From there, you’ll drive to the start point of the rafting tour. After a safety briefing, head on to the river to begin your experience. Cruise down the Imster canyon and watch your surrounding change from a calm stream into a white-water river. Splash over rapids and paddle with your team to master the waves. Your guide will capture the trip with a waterproof camera. Stop on a sandy beach alongside the Inn River, where you’ll prepare lunch on a campfire. Enjoy your meal and relax with a drink, before getting back on the water. At the end of the trip, drive back to the base station where you can take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or have a hot shower.

Oetztal: Canyoning "ClearWater"

Oetztal: Canyoning "ClearWater"

You start on the bridge where the canyoning guide abseils you down into the ravine. During this passage he takes a close look at how you like it and gives useful tips on how to rappel properly. In the shallow brook bed you climb over the first rocks down to the gorge. Correct walking (surefootedness training) is practiced here, too, under the expert instruction of the guide. After a first abseiling point on the rock, a huge waterfall cascades down into the ravine from the left – here you take a cooling shower with lots of fun and laughter. Alternating between climbing down, abseiling and jumping ... but always under the sharp eyes of the canyoning guide. The highlight is the "high abseiling spot" and the "one and only" slide that you won't forget for sure.

We, a family of two adults and two kids (age 10 and 13) had a great time! The guides were truly helpful and the alpenrosenklamm really beautiful! To abseil was sometimes a bit scary for the youngest but jumping and sliding was so much fun! I can definitely recommend this to any adventurous family who likes water, jumping and climbing!

A very nice experience. We had a lot of fun. Sure, a little scared at first, but that quickly subsided. We didn't freeze either, despite the ice-cold water, the suits, the movement and the excitement make for the heat. Many thanks to Serkan and Marco! It was great fun. We are very happy to be there again!

A good condition is really a requirement for Canyoning. Was quite a physical challenge. Fantastic experience and highlight of our holiday in Tyrol

It was a super fun experience and we had a super guide! He took time for everyone. I definitely recommend it!
